FROM BUDDY'S ORIGINAL EMAIL MESSAGE:

I've posted updates we have made on the Carolina theatre console. I have just gotten some good pictures of the stop action being mounted to the rail and thought that I'd share them with anyone interested in what we are doing. The rail is attached to the console. A clip is placed into the rail. The clips are center drilled so that a post can be screwed into the clip. The action is slid over the post and a locking washer and nut are used. The clip and frame of the action form a vice action that grips the rail. Stop actions and be moved and adjusted by backing off the locking nut. The only problem we have encountered was with the engraving on the tabs. If you have five lines the bolster could block the top of the text. Arnt makes longer red and white tabs that we drill and cut ourselves. We purchase the Yellow tabs in the old style and cut them ourselves and mill them to give us about 1/4 inch more length.

From one of our members comes the following information about the materials:
"Ideal/Buchanan is manufacturer. The rail and clips are # 11 and #12. I can't remember for sure which is which part number. Note that the clips are tapped for 4-40 and we drill and re-tap for the larger 6-32 screw."

Anyone interested in seeing the pic's I will be happy to email them to you.
