Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society
to begin operation of museum featuring Virginia railroad history
Scheduled opening November, 2011
The old Southern Railway Station at 102 Hull Street in downtown Richmond as it appeared 100 years ago, and as it looks today following restoration project. The station will soon open its doors as a museum featuring railroad memorabilia from railroads, past and present, that operated in the Commonwealth.

Dining on the railroad often meant using the finest china and silver ware. Passenger trains boasted top of the line restaurant accommodations in the dining cars of old.
